1. Receive a CUBLEY
You receive a cube from another person or buy your own. Every CUBLEY has a name that you can use to find it in the app.
A small gesture can change the world.
A small wooden cube travels from person to person. In the app, your encounters become its shared travel story.
More than a cube. A journey we share.
Sometimes a chance encounter starts with something small. A CUBLEY changes hands, travels on and carries memories with it. A brief moment for one person becomes part of the story the next person discovers.

CUBLEYHow CUBLEY works
2. Open the cube in the app
On the home page, select “Enter your cube’s name”. Enter the name of your CUBLEY and open it.
3. Record your encounter
Enter the location and tell us what you experienced with CUBLEY. Add photos if you like. Save your contribution as a new stop on its journey. You enter the location yourself; the app does not track the cube automatically.
4. Pass on the CUBLEY
Give the wooden cube to another person in person. Briefly explain how the app works. This person can add the next stop on its journey—so the story keeps growing.
5. Follow the journey
On the CUBLEY world map, you can see the journey stops that have been added. Under “CUBLEY Stories”, you can find the experiences of the people the cube has encountered.
CUBLEY in 10 seconds
A small world. A lasting connection.
Where has this cube been? Who has it met? Its stops appear on the world map. One encounter at a time, a route takes shape across countries and continents.
Every CUBLEY has a story.
A sunset by the sea. A conversation on the road. A place you want to remember. CUBLEY Stories keeps these moments alive through the words and photos of the people who were there.
Keep the conversation going.
You can stay in touch after the cube has travelled on. In CUBLEY Chat, you talk using your nickname. Translation helps when you speak different languages.
The CUBLEY Manifesto
A small gesture can change the world.
We live in a world where billions of people are connected—and yet often feel like strangers.
CUBLEY is more than a small wooden cube.
It is a symbol of trust, curiosity, and humanity.
Every cube carries its own story.
People pass it on, share their experiences, and connect with one another.
Not through likes.
Not through followers.
But through real encounters.
Anyone can be part of it.
Anyone can write history.
CUBLEY
Connect. Share. Write history together.
What is free?
The app, the public world map, and journey previews are free to access. You can also contribute a journey stop to an active CUBLEY without a membership. Full stories and member chat are part of the membership. A wooden cube of your own is purchased separately.
Treat each other with respect
Ask for permission before sharing photos or personal information about other people. Everyone decides for themselves whether they want to be part of the journey.
